The Mayor and council held a speci.al meeti.ng at the City Hall
for the purpose of a public hearing on the zoning ror business
property rormerly known as the W. M. Pressley lot on King and
Stephens sts., March 17, 1952, 7:30 P. M.
Mayor Pro-tem C. M. Hamby, presiding with tile rOllowing Council-
men present, G1enn YarbrOUgh, Jr., Harry '\'Ifitchell, Jr., C. C.
Terrell.
By consent of the counci1 Mr. C. T. Osborn came before the
Council' in regard to contractors license he had been ask to
take out before a building permitcwould be issued him. This
referred for a special meeting of the Mayor and Council.
After 1engthly discussion it Was agreed by all parties present
to zone the described property of Ralph G. Lewis, Jr., lOCated
on King and Stephens sts., :lor business.
