with the following Councilmen present: Ni E. Brenner, D. M.
Scarbrough, R. H. Wood, J. G. White and A. S. Dowd.

Purpose of meeting the request F. W. Schultz to rezone hi$
property located at 146 Spring St. from residential to bus-
iness.
Mr. George Kreiger, and Mrs. Earl Reid requested assistance
from city for the Teen -Age Canteen in amount of $700.00 to
be used to employ a full time director for 21/2 months.
Motion Brenner seconed Wood that $700.00 be donated to the
Teen -Age Canteen. Voted unanimous.

Motion Brenner seconed Wood that the request of F. W. Schultj
be denied for rezoning 146 Spring St. for business as applied.
Voted unanimous.

Mr. DowR presented letter of resignation effective June 30,
1957 as Councilman from Ward #5.
Fred Shield- representing the Church of Christ, located on
Church St. requested that fire plug be�pput on Church St.
close to church. be installed
Motion Brenner seconed Scarbrough that a fire plug be put
on Church St. in front of C4rch of Christ. Voted unanimous.
Bill McKenna requested sewerage for his Sub -division on Camp-
bell Rd. Consisting of 44 units. A letter of authorization to
be given by Tom Northcutt Jr, certifying that the. money in
Escrow account could be applied toward his sewerage.
Councilman Wood requested that A. D. Lattanzi be ,placed under
bond as he was in charge of Church St. Park. J•R Johnson re-
eques ted to set up set of books for the concession stand
operations.
Motion R. H. Wood that the following personal be employed
for the Church St. Park:
1+ Mrs. A. D. Lattanzi @ $1.00 p-
er hour., Mrs Jewett Martin @.90,.
per hour., Steve Harris and Rose Baldwin @ .75 per hour.

Admission .15 and .30 with two life guards o duty at all
times, with a monthly report to be given by attanzi to Park
committee. Motion seconed by J. G. White. Vo ed Unanimous.
