Continuation of the regular Council meeting of August 4, 1952
August 5th., 1952s 7:45 p.m. Mayor J. M. Gibson presiding.
Councilmen C. M. Hamby, C. CO Terrell and Glenn Yarbrough
present.
It was recommended by the Council that a study be made with re-
gard to the "Hall Subdivisions' in order to ascertain the best
location for a recreation area in that Subdivision.

Chief Hardy testified concerning the possible disposal of some
of the material missing from the City's inventory of tools and
materials.
The Mayor appointed Mr. Yarbrough to take an inventory of all
tools in the Water Department, Shop and on the trucks.
The general concensus of opinion of the Council, was that the
City should notify all companies and persons, from whom it -
makes purchases, that the City would not be responsible for
any bills submitted, unless the bill is accompanied by a pur-
chase order.
Mr. Yarbrough moved, Terrell seconded, that the Council adjourn.
Vote unanimous.
