09-09-1947 Regular Meetingfc f3 �5 September 9, 1947 A meeting of the Mayor and Council was held at the City Hall on September 9, 1947, at 7:30 P.M. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor, Mrs. Lorena P. Pruitt with all councilmen present: H. D. Durham, B. H. Hanson, E. E. Jackson, H. P. c ollum and W. A. Quarles. Motion was made by r. Q rles,/ec.onded by Mr. Jackson, to accept Ledbetter -Jo ants bid r paving of streets. Motion was unanimously carried. Mr. A. P. Welker, Engineer, were present.
