11-08-1979 Special Called MeetingNOVEMBER 8, 1979 A special called meeting was held, November 8, 1979, for the purpose of discussing subdivision regulations. The meeting was held at City Hall and was called to order by Mayor Frank B. Johnson; also in attendance from the City Council were, Jack Shinall, Elbert Coalson, Bill Darby, Jim Hawkins and Jerry Mills. Those present from the Planning and Zoning Board were Chairman, Allen Potter, W. C. McCoy, Tom Corso, Bill Wood, Billie Stephens, George Griffin, M. E. Jernigan, and Paula Cannon, Secretary. Also present were, Willouise Spivey, City Clerk, Jim David, City Engineer, Jim Ross, Consulting Engineer, M. L. Williams, Building Inspector. After much discussion between the above persons it was decided that the Subdivision Regulations, adopted December 29, 1975, are to be enforced as written, thus avoiding any further confusion between said parties. With no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:45 P. M.
